I'm addicted . . .

to blogging! At least to designing the page. We'll see how often I can keep up with the posts. I do like showing off pictures of my adorable children . . .

It's finally starting to feel like spring around here. (Isn't it actually summer now?!) We've had three days in a row in the low-70's (and no rain!) and it's supposed to stay like that for the next week or so. Yea! Enough about the weather.

We have a date for moving back to the States . . . 16 August. Am I excited? YES! I miss my family and friends and all the convenience of living in the States (like having a car!) but there are things I will miss about living in London. 10 things I will miss the most:

1. The beautiful house we have to live in. Alex picked it out on his own and it has been perfect for our little family. In fact, after visiting the "homes" of some of the families in our ward and friends from J's school, I feel extremely blessed for the space we have. Many families live in 1-2 bedroom flats.

2. Walking everywhere! It's not convenient, but it's great exercise. (Especially when you're "running" late!)

3. Our ward. Alex has been serving as an elders quorum teacher and I've been serving as the ward music chairman/pianist and in the primary presidency. I've learned a lot. First, not everyone knows the "basic" hymns. I've been lovingly reprimanded several times for choosing music that no one seems to recognize, or just doesn't want to sing. (Maybe they won't miss my music selection?!) Second, how to lovingly reprimand children in primary again, and again, and again . . . We don't have any teachers so the presidency is responsible for each of the three classes (nursery, 4-7 yr. olds, and 8-12 yr. olds). Nursery has 2-3 children, the younger class has 3-4 children, and the older class (which I teach) has 9 big boys and the occasional girl or two.

4. Having groceries delivered right to my door! Is there really anything more to say?

5. Cheese! Fruit! Eggs! These actually taste better over here. I don't know why . . . ask my dh who's convinced that everything in the States is made of corn . . .

6. The smile on Justin's face every time we ride the train, tube, tram, or bus (be it double or not). This will probably never change!

7. "Living abroad" amongst the British Royal. A short, but glamorous, chapter in our lives. The free museums, the fabulous parks, the unforgettable day trips, and the longer ones to Paris and Barcelona (and hopefully a few more).

8. Our friends from around the world and all their unique accents. From Iran to Africa and Wales to Russia and everywhere in between.

9. Watching Justin zoom all over town on his scooter!

10. An awesome cleaning product called Dettol in all its various forms. Do we have that in the States? It cleans every surface and doesn't leave streaks!

Yours may be the very best blog, ever! I loved reading and viewing this post. It's so wonderful to enjoy all your pictures, and watch the kids grow up in them. Thanks for sharing all of these things.

Sarah, You asked how I made the collage. I did it in the program Picassa. You pick the pictures you want and then put make collage and you can post it write to your blog.

I was addicted to blogging at first, but then summer hit. I don't know where all my time has gone. I don't think we will make it to Eruope before you leave, darn. Where are you moving to? I am so glad you had such a fun experience in England. Your kids are so cute.
