JUSTIN
6 years old - loves school, primary and "teaching" his little sisters, riding his bike (no training wheels) and scooter, soccer, baseball, drawing, and reading; is the center of Josie's universe (and McKenzie's, on most days), the sweetest boy ever!
McKENZIE
4 years old - loves school, primary, tap and ballet, gymnastics, dancing to the wii with Alex, melting faces on Rock Band with Alex, sleepovers, friends, and snuggling.
JOSIE
1 1/2 years old - loves nursery, dancing, singing ("da da da"), mimicking Justin and McKenzie, gymnastics, wrestling, climbing/sliding/swinging - the outdoors! - giving hugs/kisses and high-5s!
Out of the mouth of babes . . .
"Do you know why I like having you sing to me? . . . Because you're my favorite friend." - McKenzie, last night at bedtime
"That policeman pulled over a house!" - Justin's exclamation when seeing a motorcylce policeman writing a ticket [to a car parked] in a driveway
". . . pizza, jell-o, and a bone (one of grandpa's chicken wings)." - what McKenzie had for dinner last night
"My train has boxage." - Justin's view of the square-shaped packages (baggage) on GeoTrax
"The Church of Jesus Christ of Laminate Saints" - the church McKenzie belongs to
"Snow White and the Second Dwarf" - one of McKenzie's favorite princess movies
"You can kiss me as much as you want to." - McKenzie
"Is that the sunshine?" - McKenzie, after days and days and days of rain
"Mom, my favorite word is Craig Elementary!" - Justin
"Mama, your beautiful." - Justin XOX
"Mama, I'm getting old." - McKenzie, while inspecting her wrinkly finger after bathtime
"If they have cheese pizza, I want some. But I don't want any pepper pizza - it's too spicy." - Justin expressing his dislike for pepperoni pizza
"My eyeball burnt out." - McKenzie while rubbing her eye
"He's not dead." - McKenzie's response when asked what grandpa's diagnosis was while playing doctor
"Heavenly Father gets to choose! Not you!" - Justin, on McKenzie's insisting that the new baby is a girl
"I think I need some snugs to keep me warm." - Justin, wanting to snuggle
"I can't breathe. My nose is hard." - Justin, waking up with a stuffy nose
