"Aunt" Sam (aka Fireman Sam) and her family stopped by for a short visit on their way home from visiting family in Augusta. We were so happy to see them! It doesn't seem that long ago since we lived in the same state. Now, their boys have become men and their girls are beautiful young women. I remember painting Lanie's toenails for the first time - she sat very still during the application, but then immediately wanted it taken off! And I remember Alex spending the night while Big Alex was out of town. It was her birthday and we went ice skating and made pottery vases together (mine's in McKenzie's room now).
