Happy Birthday McKenzie

My baby is three!!  Three reasons I love McKenzie:
1.  She's a challenge.  She's independent, sassy and more than a tad bit stubborn.  She's a quick learner - walked at 9 months, talked at ????, fully potty-trained at 25 months - and she thinks for herself.
2.  She's always happy.  McKenzie always wakes with a smile on her face and big hug for whoever is in her path.  She loves to snuggle and is quick with a "Mama, I love you" at any given moment during the day. She even emerges from most tantrums with a smile (see #1  above).
3.  She's my little girl.  I always wanted all boys. I was always a tomboy who ran with the boys and beat most of them most of the time - you name the challenge.  McKenzie's favorite color is pink.  She adores princesses and baby dolls.  She loves to have her nails painted and to dress up for church.  She loves to sing and dance.  She is beautiful.

McKenzie wanted a princess party for her birthday.  This too presented a challenge considering many of her friends her age are boys.  They didn't seem to mind all the pink!

We flew home from SLC on McKenzie's birthday.
Justin wrote/spelled this for her all by himself on the plane.

Happy birthday sweetheart!

The party goes on . . . How many parties does one three year old need?  Three, of course!

You were in Salt Lake and did not call me. I'm so hurt! If I remember right Alex parents live in Bountiful we are only 10 minutes from there I would have loved to see you. Oh well i forgive you ;) Happy Birthday sweet McKenzie

My kids had fun at the party. The jewels from the crowns were a big hit. They are still using them to stick and re-stick to various things around the house.
