Due to our long month in the doctor's office and my monthly visits, McKenzie has the routine down to a science. The other day we had the following conversation:
Mc: "What is your name again mama?"
Me: "Sarah"
Mc: "When I call your name you have to come to your room, okay? (i.e. the princess room, the mickey mouse room, etc.)" (pause) "Mama Eastman, please come to Dr. McKenzie."
She takes my temperature (and declares it somewhere around "27.3 dollars"), looks in my ears, eyes, mouth, and listens to my heartbeat. Then she steps away to "check her computer."
I hope she doesn't send me a bill!
